Ashley Olsen: Marie Claire

Source: tfs

I grew up with the olsen twins. Well, not literally (I wish) but definitely through the television and VHS. "Brother for sale, only 50 cents..." please tell me you still remember....They were my icons and still are to no doubt.

Obviously Ashley grew up very quickly and this photo shoot really goes to show that. These are the kind of shoots she should/could be doing in 5 years. nonetheless, I am always happy to see them in editorials so I can't complain too much.

Tonight I am going on a dinner cruise around Chicago! Hopefully my sea sickness won't set in.....My first and LAST-cruise experience was spent green-faced for the greater portion of the extravaganza. Oh well, I will suck it up to have a splendid night with my favorite gals.

The rules are that I must choose from a color scheme of black, white, or red. We shall see what I come up with.

Also, I am in the process of getting a new camera so expect great pics soon!

New Blonde Hair Color

The days of being a "white out" blonde are slowly coming to a halt. I am feeling the itch that tells me that I need a change pronto and also that annoying little thing called ROOTS are really pissing me off. Having a mop that grows at the rate of a pesky weed does in fact have its downfalls.....I mean my dishwater natural color starts to show just one measly little week after a touch up. skrrr. I know, right? So peace out for now Lady Gaga inspired Locks.

Forgive me, beautiful people, but i cannot remember where I found this pic. I think it was from a lovely little blogger. Anyway, focus your attention to the blondie. wow. she is a beauty and I want to revert back to a color similar to hers. Oh and while I'm ordering things from this photo, could I have the nerdy/awesome glasses and aqua eye color on the side? hehe.

Thoughts? I would love to hear um!

The always adorned Gemma Ward

This photos make me want to take a vacation to some tropical getaway.
I am giddily drawn to any photo that is showing laughter so choosing this picture as my favorite was a given.

I love the nautical-esque swim top and the little charms that hang from it.
I have the exact same floppy hat that I will have for many years to come...This topper is so durable, my mom once accidentally took a nap on it and to her and my surprise is popped right back into place.

This being a Vogue-Australia brings me to reminisce of the time when I studied abroad down under. I am convinced that I will go back in the next 5 years. We traveled through Aussie for two weeks and spent one week in the South Island of New Zealand...ahhhhh what a fun time........dayum

Rumor had it that Gemma was retiring but clearly that was just a rumor, she is 20 people!
well I don't mean do say that she couldn't even think about retiring because i'll have all of you know that she is like #11 on the forbes list for top paid models. woop woop, get it girl!

My current faves are:

Gemma Ward (duh)
Natsaha Poly
Jessica Stam

OKAY I WANNT HEAR IT. FAVORITE MODELS?!?!

I wonder what's inside her bag?

Even as a lil tyke I was always obsessed with snooping in other individuals purses. schlepping through my Grandma Betty's purse was the most fun because her bags were always exceptionally large and filled with fun little trinkets and treasured candies.

You can learn a lot about a girl by looking through her bag.

Cleaning out my bag is always a fun endeavor, I'll find beloved lip gloss that I thought was lost forever or dare i say it, taco bell sauce packets from the drunk food run the night before (always good to have around).

So anyway here is my latest assortment of things that I have found in my oh so heavy Marc Jacobs Quilted Stam:

Burt's Bees peppermints
Tree pill box that I purchased in Venice Italy ( I hope to never lose this)
Louis Vuitton wallet which was a birthday present from a few years ago
Annie's Organic fruit Snacks because I am orally fixated (current favorite)
Gucci Aviators that are way too big for my face but nevertheless ILOVEUM
Hair tie
Bobbies
Brambleberry Rose Balm
Freeze 24.7 Plump Lips in WindChill
Kendra Scott cocktail ring that I purchased while visiting my friend KT in Austin
My good ol red I-Pod nano....I am hoping will last me another year...eeshh
Blackberry Storm:I like but am still haunted by those iPhone commercials...damn iPhone ppl
Louis Vuitton key chain that i got last christmas
