I am ecstatic to say that I bought a new camera today...well, my brother technically bought it :)
I decided on the Canon G10. Seemed like a perfect fit for me. The camera had to be shipped home so hopefully I will be up and running around with it by this weekend!

Before purchasing a new camera my mom and I spent most the day at IKEA, getting new things for my house/room at MSU....I move there in just one short week.....eeeeeee...I'm excited to see everyone who I have been far away from all summer long.

*Reasons to be excited for school*
-Tailgating of course
-Best friends...some have graduated and will be so VERY missed :(
-Biking to class...still looking for a beach cruiser
-The trees turning in the fall
-Urban outfitters, american apparel and my gym being 2 short blocks away from my house
-Mennas joint (the best drunk food on the planet)
-Laying out at Chandler's
-Living in a house with 12 other amazing girls....Crazy I know
-I am actually a tiny bit excited for classes but that tinge of exuberance will soon pass when studying and projects take over my life...

Okay, enough already I'm getting too excited.
So I ended up purchasing a clothing rack and a book shelf..I can already picture pretty lil things sitting upon the shelves.
eeeeee..I cannot wait to put my room together. My mom and I look forward to this every single year, seriously!
Dontcha worry, I will post pics as soon as the room is perfected!

SideNote: Of course, we had to stop in the IKEA cafe and eat some swedish food. My eyes instantly were drawn to a bright green little round cake that was called "Princess cake". Clearly that is what I ordered and to my surprise, aside from being uber adorable, it was tasty too.
Lovelies, I am off to bed. I need to test out my new feather down comforter and duvet!
